(Mostly) Clean is a collection of solo electric guitar improvisations recorded (mostly) without effects.

From fingertip to G&L Legacy Special, outfitted with Fralin Stratocaster pickups, through the classic Silvertone 1474 recorded directly to Zoom H2, this is an experiment in direct expression.

What emerges is an un-doctored and unadorned attempt at musical storytelling that leaves flubbed-notes intact alongside glittering arpeggios and repeating patterns of spontaneous guitar workouts.

A few tracks leverage the Acid Fuzz Repeater where noted* and syncopate the undulating peaks and valleys with tremolo, resulting in a complex sonic tapestry.

Words locked inside notes, sentences executed as phrasing, sentiment as harmonic-cloud.

Part of a three volume set including (Pretty) Dirty and (Very) Abstract recorded in January 2020, (Mostly) Clean is Lost Chocolate Lab laid-bare without processing.
